Welcome to Mid-Way’s Kingdom Seeker's Children’s Ministry – a team of God called professionals and volunteers using their passion and gifts to lead children. Our teachers magnify the truths of God’s Word in relevant lessons, and our many volunteers assist in a variety of areas to create a fun, child-targeted experience to reach children.  And nowhere is that more likely to happen than in the Kingdom Seekers Children's Ministry. We use art, drama, music, multi-media, and creative Bible lessons to encourage kids and help them establish a life long relationship with Christ. The age appropriate, relevant Bible lessons apply directly to the kids’ lives and help kids’ establish a growing relationship with Christ.

KidStuf

We offer Children’s Worship called Kidstuf. It is an Open Assembly prior to Sunday School (Life Group). It includes worshipful songs, Intro Skit and Exit Skit, and a Wrap Up. Kidstuf is:

• Value Driven – where character and faith are taught by emphasizing a monthly value
• User Friendly – where your friends will thank you for bringing them
• Creatively Wired – where video, lights, sound, and drama are used to make a lasting impression
• Family Centered – where parents and kids spend quality time together
• Kid Focused – where learning is fun and relevant for elementary age kids
• Volunteer Fueled – where everyone can participate and get connected. Middle School and High School students learn that by their service in Kidstuf, they become active leaders in the Children’s Ministry and the 1st-5th graders look up to them.

Our KidStuf Children’s Worship is fun and innovative and teaches you and your child how to apply God’s Word to your lives while preparing their hearts for their Sunday School (Life Group) lesson. Join us Sundays' 1st hour at 9:15am or 2nd hour at 10:30am.

KIDS WANT TO BE KNOWN AND LOVED

Kingdom Seekers Children's Ministry provides the opportunity for kids to be a part of a small group each week. This family-focused ministry utilizes an exciting curriculum called 252 Basics. This curriculum is centered around 3 Basic Truths every child should learn according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52.
 

1. I need to make the wise choice.

2. I can trust God no matter what.

3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

This curriculum coincides with both our Kidstuf Family Worship service and both our God Time Cards and Refrigerator Door resources. A different Biblical virtue can be experienced each month by both children and parents!  All 3 of these ministries provide parents with a valuable resource to be the spiritual leaders in their home during the week.

It’s the special connection where kids feel welcomed, valued, and cared for while learning who Jesus is, how to follow Him, and how basic Biblical truths can help them make the right choices now and throughout their lives. By using the unique blend of Sunday School and Children’s Worship, we know that we can:

• Encourage boys and girls to become faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ
• Guide boys and girls to develop skills in using and interpreting the Bible
• Help boys and girls become loyal and active members of a local church congregation of believers
• Challenge boys and girls to apply Bible teachings in all aspects of daily living
