Awana takes place every Sunday at 6:00pm
Why do hundreds of thousands of kids attend Awana Clubs every week? Awana is fun! That's the bottom line for most kids. Of course, they're learning and growing while they're having fun.
Awana Club meetings are brimming with life-enriching experiences for young people! Trained leaders guide children through age-appropriate material. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They also learn how to apply the truths of the Bible to their daily lives. In a world desperate for high standards of morality and ethics, Awana uses the BIble to teach children to honor God and their fellow human beings.
Our church offers Awana Club to all ages. The groups are as follows:
- Puggles (2 year olds)
- Cubbies (K3-K4)
- Sparks (K5-2 grade)
- Truth & Training (3-5 grade)
- Trek (6-8 grade)
- Journey 24-7 (9-12 grade)

Cubbies

(K3-K4)
Director: Courtney Sauls
The Awana club for preschoolers is built on two premises:
• Young children can and should receive spiritual training.
• Home is the primary place for spiritual training.
Our preschool program meets these needs through…
Fun – and lots of it!
Awana is fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.
Friendly characters and leaders
Cubbie Bear, Luv E. Lamb, Ern E. Elephant, Zip E. Zebra and Gigi Giraffe take preschoolers on a thrilling journey through God’s Word. Caring, committed volunteer leaders from our church nurture your children spiritually as Christian role models and teachers.
Foundational teaching
Bible-centered handbooks and club activities help your children begin to build a solid understanding of the basics of Christianity at an early age.
Family involvement
Cubbies is unique because it supports parents as the primary source of spiritual nurturing. By working directly with their child on the weekly handbook lessons, parents become active participants in their child’s spiritual development. Along the way, unsaved parents with kids in the program are introduced to God and His plan of salvation. Your kids will reap immediate benefits from their involvement in this exciting program.
Sparks

(K5-2 Grade)
Director: Alison Hall
Sparks curriculum is comprised of three handbooks. Each handbook communicates spiritual truths through memory verse drills, crafts, activities and review of key doctrine, Bible facts and verses. All three handbooks follow a nature motif, starting with Skipper and ending with Climber.
The theme of the first handbook is “Jesus in the past.” The second book’s theme is “Jesus in the present.” The theme of the third book is “Jesus in the future.”
Before working in a handbook, newcomers to Sparks complete an entrance booklet that introduces them to the program and begins teaching them basic Bible truths
Truth & Training
(3-5 Grade)
Directors: Tina LaSasso & Mark Shockey
Each of the four handbooks in our Truth & Training clubs investigates four questions. Eight answers from the Bible are provided for each question. Children will learn all eight answers to each of the questions and verses to back up these answers. The handbooks also include Bible studies and activities that allow children to delve into the subject matter.
Besides this curriculum, children can complete more challenging extra-credit sections throughout each handbook to earn special awards. Before beginning work in a handbook, newcomers to T&T must complete a short booklet that explains God’s plan of salvation.
TREK
(6-8 Grade)
Director: Wendy Bryan
Trek is based on the proven Come See/Come Follow/Come Serve ministry framework employed by 24/7 Ministries for ministry to students at all levels of spiritual development. Trek takes real questions from real students and answers them from the Bible in a relevant, engaging way.
24/7 Journey

(9-12 Grade)
Director: Bill Bryan
Journey 24-7 curriculum is tailored for students at all spiritual levels. Your church’s most committed Christian teenagers will be taken on an in-depth journey through God’s Word through our Journey 24-7 study manuals. Students will also complete one elective study manual each year.
Journey 24-7 curriculum has it all: relevant 21st-century content, a strong emphasis on life application, thorough apologetics and our trademark Scripture memory - invaluable ingredients for character-shaping discipleship. These materials are challenging yet meaningful to seekers, nominal believers and fervent followers of Christ.
