Greg was saved at the age of 8 and raised in a Christian home in Roanoke, VA.  He graduated in 1984 from Wilmington Christian Academy located in Wilmington, NC.  He attended Liberty University in the fall of 1984 with a great friend from his high school class, Suzanne Lee.  During their sophomore year at Liberty, Greg and Suzanne began dating and they were engaged near the end of their senior year at Liberty.  They both graduated from Liberty in May 1988 with majors in Business Administration and minors in Psychology and were married in June of 1988.

Greg and Suzanne have been blessed with two wonderful boys, Allan, born in 1990 and Tyler, born in 1994.  They were both actively involved in Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC teaching middle school and couples, while also singing in the choir.  Greg served on the deacon board for two years until 1994 when business brought them to Raleigh.

Greg and his family joined Mid-Way in the spring of 1994 and have been actively involved in the teaching and music ministries since then.  After many years in the business world, Greg felt God was leading him to a place of full-time ministry.  Greg and Suzanne surrendered their family wholly to the Lord in the summer of 2003 for whatever God wanted them to do.  After 18 months of prayer and God’s leading, Greg joined the Mid-Way staff in April of 2005 as Director of Ministries and Executive Pastor.
