Grant was born in Hagerstown, Maryland. However, he spent most of his life being raised in Orlando, Florida by his mother, Miriam. Grant was saved at an early age as a result of the bus ministry of a small church in Orlando. He gladly gave his heart to Christ and was baptized. But when he became a teenager, he began to pull away from the things of God. His life seemed to be going in a downward spiral as he stopped going to church and hung out with the wrong crowd. It wasn’t until God used a special speaker who came to his church that turned Grant’s life around. That night he thought long and hard about where his life was heading and knew that this was a turning point for him. Soon after this, Grant rededicated his life to Christ and surrendered to full-time ministry.

Grant went on to attend Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri for two years before transferring to Atlantic Baptist Bible College in Chester, Virginia. He has been ministering to youth for the past ten years. Grant and his beautiful wife Michelle have four wonderful children.
